Environmental recycling

_cc781905-5cde-3194 -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_There are more than 30 craft beer breweries in Hong Kong, and they produce an average of 136 tons of by-product brewer's grains (malt residue) per month.

The common way to deal with malt residues is to recycle them and turn them into livestock feed. Unfortunately, there is not much demand for livestock feed in Hong Kong, so most of the brewer's grains are dumped directly into landfills as kitchen waste, which greatly increases the burden on landfills. Exacerbating the problem of landfill saturation.

Carrying out the concept of adding value to food waste, we recycle these brewers' grains from local breweries and produce natural, biodegradable and environmentally friendly cat litter through a series of treatments in local factories.
